Description

This plant pot consists of a pot and saucer. Holes in the pot allow any excess water to flow out to the saucer. It is made from Jesmonite, a gypsum-based material, complimented by natural colorants. Venetian Red was used for this pot, an earth clay pigment rich in iron oxide. This warm color has been used since prehistoric times, most notably in cave paintings.
